Boro earned a well deserved point away at Potters Bar on bank holiday Monday before a good crowd of 271 . Boro began brightly and the pace of forwards Mckenzie and Nouble troubled the Scholars back line and on a number of occasions Boro could have scored. Mckenzie lobbing the keeper but over the bar when clean through and Nouble with a powerful shot just wide. Boro continued to press and came close again as first Mckenzie and then Barker could not put the finishing touches to a fine move down the right and a cross from Olufemi.At the other end The scholars looked dangerous from set pieces but did not create much to trouble Pajetat in goal . 0-0 at halftime .
Boro again came out strongly in the second half and an excellent move down the left wing culminated in Nouble volleying over a superb cross from the impressive O’donoghue. A close header from a corner by Mitchell was followed by a couple of dangerous crosses from sub Ademiluyi but in truth the home keeper was hardly troubled. As can be said for Pajetat at the other end and a draw was a fair result at the end of the day .
