Further to the FA announcement that Spectators will be allowed into Stadiums at our level we can confirm that we will be admitting Spectators in to our pre season friendly listed above . We are however limited in numbers to a maximum of 300 spectators and accordingly we will have to be selective in admission. We ask that only those who were season ticket holders last season seek to attend this match . Please bring your cards with you .We will not be able to guarantee all of you entry and will only know on the day how many have attended. Accordingly those who arrive after the capacity has been reached will unfortunately be disappointed and will, we regret, have to be turned away.
Although we are limited in numbers we have decided that we should still make allocation for a limited number of Away fans as they too will want an opportunity to watch their team having been deprived for so many months and also as a way of expressing our gratitude to a National League side gracing our ground and giving us such a prestigious fixture .
We are working extremely hard to put in place a ticketing system for the future and creation of a data base whereby we will be able to assess applications that meet the entry criteria if such a situation arises again . Unfortunately such a system will not be in place for next week’s match and hence the advice given above .
The next pre season match at home will be on Tuesday 8 September 19.45 ko where a QPR development squad will be the visitors. Following that on Saturday 12 September we entertain Sutton United and hopefully will get an opportunity to watch our former player Coby Rowe in action . The FA have stipulated that, subject to any change in the interim , the capacity for matches after 30 August will be 600 so we will be able to welcome many more of you to our stadium.
We understand that everyone has missed the team and the friends you have all created at the Club and we do not wish to prevent people entering the stadium and all of you are always welcome. We hope however that in these extraordinary times you will ,if refused admission, be understanding of the position we find ourselves in and will continue to return and support your Club. Highlights of Tuesday’s match will be aired as soon a possible thereafter.
The turnstiles will open at 6.00 pm and there will be a number of conditions to entry which we trust you will all follow. Tomorrow we will post the ground operation plan and the risk assessment plan and we invite you to consider the same and familiarise yourselves with it prior to attendance. Your safety and that of the staff and players and all attendees is paramount .
There will be refreshments on sale and a queuing system in place. Please be patient as we try to implement these changes for the first time to serve you all as quickly as possible and in a safe manner .
There will be an online programme that can also be viewed on the day of the match and thereafter on the website
Entry will be the concessions rate for all ie £5 – under 16’s will be free
After Tuesday we host Hanwell Town of the Isthmian League South Central division on Saturday 29 August 3.00 pm ko Similar capacity of 300 will apply .
